Beginning on Sunday, September 22 in the Chapel (10:15-11 a.m.), join us as we delve into one of the foundational stories of Scripture, the Israelites’ liberation from bondage in Egypt: the Book of Exodus.
Cold-hearted kings, unlikely leaders, fearful, stiff-necked people: the Book of Exodus shines a light on humanity’s potential for good as well as evil– and the character of a loving, liberating God in the midst of human affairs. We will move through the first part of the book systematically, paying special attention to God’s actions and what that means for the newly-forming identity of God’s people.
