Worship. Serve. Grow.

Fall is stewardship season, a time for all of us to CELEBRATE our shared commitment to this community of St. Paul’s in Cary, and to dream of what’s possible with NEW BEGINNINGS!

We invite you first to Celebrate:

  • that we have become a community of open doors and open hearts, continually responding to the world by letting people in, not shutting them out
  • that our footprint nurtures many, providing safe spaces for learning, comforting spaces for grieving, bright spaces for celebrating and natural spaces for prayer
  • that our dedicated clergy and staff model servant leadership as they tend to this complex and ever-evolving organization

We also invite you to turn your vision to New Beginnings, as we move into the search process to call a new rector to St. Paul’s. During this time, we encourage you:

  • to reflect on who we have been, what we do well and where we might go next; what dreams do you have for this community?
  • to grow your stewardship of this 12-acre campus and support the staff as costs continue to climb; we will incur expenses for the search process and we do not want it to affect the work of our ministries
  • to join us in prayers for guidance, committed to the belief that we are a Spirit-led people

The stories we share as we celebrate George’s ministry give insight into who we are as a community. Your financial support is why this community exists and does good work, and we celebrate that as well.

More than 90% of our budget is based on member pledges–your giving directly feeds the work we do as a community. And we have work ahead of us. To grow our ministries, provide for clergy transition costs and respond to increased property maintenance needs, we need to increase our operating budget in 2025. To accomplish this without losing the momentum we’ve built, we will need an increase in pledges.

Please visit our pledging page to submit your 2025 pledge. You can also print a pledge form (see resources) and return it to the church collection plate, or mail it to the church office. Please pledge by October 27, 2024.

We are no longer hidden at the end of a neighborhood street; we are now literally on a new pathway through Cary. People know us, and they like what they find here. Thank you for helping to make this happen; now let’s make sure it continues!
