The St. Nicholas Advent tree is up and is decorated with over 400 tags identifying needy children served by local agencies that support seasonal farmworker families, orphans and vulnerable children, homeless families, families of recovering addicts, and families in need of reasonable housing. St. Paul’s response to the Diocesan request for help for the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry after Hurricane Matthew was overwhelming. Eight van loads of food and clothing were sent to Diocesan House for transport to the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry and the flood ravaged community it serves. $2066.00 in monetary donations were gratefully received as well.
