The Youth are collecting new socks for the farmworkers in Eastern North Carolina through the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry (EFwM). Socks are always needed – they get filthy with dirt and chemicals and don’t last the farmworkers very long. We have a collection bin in the hallway across from the music room. The Stop Hunger Now ministry at St. Paul’s needs a New Ministry Leader. This ministry has been active for close to 10 years and St. Paul’s has packaged over 100,000 meals during that time! Episcopal Relief & Development has established a Hurricane Relief Fund so relief can be provided where the need is greatest regardless of the hurricane’s name or location. The preference now is that donations be marked “Hurricane Relief Fund.” However, donations marked for a named hurricane will be used for that hurricane.
