What’s your favorite thing about October? Halloween costumes? Candy? Chili? Get your October groove on by joining one of our fun events below – there’s never a shortage of smiles, and who doesn’t need that?
Halloween Carnival:
Celebrate Halloween with us on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 5-7 p.m. on the church grounds. Activities include a potluck dinner (Men’s Group hotdogs and chips provided), the return of our Chili Cook-off (sign up to bring yours here), a costume parade, Trunk or Treat, plus games and prizes. Everyone is welcome to participate; we LOVE having ministries decorate their car trunks, hand out candy and share in the fun! Youth play a big role in organizing this event, so let’s come out and support their hard work. Questions? Contact Youth Coordinator Ben Bricio.
Reverse Trick or Treat at Glenaire:
Children and their parents are invited to share some Halloween fun at Glenaire Retirement Community on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 3:45-4:30 p.m. with a Reverse Trick or Treat. Wear your costumes and bring a bucket of candy to share with the residents. Contact Children’s Ministries Administrator Natalie Sroka for details if you would like to learn more about joining us.
EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) Trip to Phillips Farms Corn Maze
Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a fun time at Phillips Farms in Cary. We’re meeting at the farm; check out their website for more information about fright level. The admission cost per youth will be $15 cash and will be after dinner. This is a scary event so do not feel like you have to go on the attractions but still come for the fellowship if you want. Contact Youth Coordinator Ben Bricio with questions.
