St. Paul’s has many opportunities for social gatherings, quiet reflection and study, and service activities, especially during Lent. From pancakes on Shrove Tuesday to a spaghetti dinner that raises funds for our Youth’s annual mission trip with the Appalachia Service Project, we welcome you to enjoy shared meals with friends. Following Ash Wednesday, we resume our contemplative Eucharist services every Wednesday evening during Lent at 7 p.m. in the Chapel. We’re also offering a Lenten Book Study on the Pulitzer Prize-winning “Wilmington’s Lie: The Murderous Coup of 1898 and the Rise of White Supremacy” on Sundays in March. Morning Prayer continues to be livestreamed on Facebook every weekday morning at 8 a.m., led by clergy as well as lay people – tune in live or later in the day as it suits you.
If you’re looking to put your hands to work on a service project, our Habitat for Humanity group is participating in the Episcopal Build on Saturdays, starting on February 24. We also have a day of service in the St. Paul’s Courtyard on March 16 to prepare for spring growth and the Easter season.
