The Little Red Wagon stands ready to receive your contributions every week. Current needs include dry pasta, dry beans, canned pasta (like Spaghettios), canned fruit and vegetables, and packaged drinks for kids. All contributions will be delivered to Urban Ministries to help feed needy families in Wake County. We’re also happy to have your extra paper or plastic grocery bags, for packing groceries for the families that come to Urban Ministries for help. Thanks as always for your continued support.

The St. Paul’s Vestry is offering an opportunity for parishioners to honor their families and friends with a permanently engraved Memorial Paver in the Circle, across from the main entrance to the church. The memorial pavers will line the existing pathway in the garden. Each of the rectangular pavers (9.25 x 6″) can hold up to four lines of text with a possible maximum of 20 characters on each line. The price of a paver is $125, enough to cover the cost of the paver and the engraving.

The diocese has announced that the Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple has been appointed to serve as Bishop Pro Tem during the time of our diocese’s bishop transition. Michael Curry, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, was elected Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church on Saturday June 27, 2015. Bishop Curry will be the Episcopal Church’s first African-American presiding bishop. He will be installed in the position on Nov 1 at the National Cathedral in Washington.
