In the fall of 2024, the Rev. Rhonda Lee visited us and shared a report commissioned by the diocese detailing the racial history of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina through the 1960s. Each congregation has been asked to research and learn its own history of the Black, Brown and Indigenous people in the life of their church and community, with regard to land acquisition, early church history and racial history.
