Pentecost is one of the great feast days of the church — a celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit and one of the stories of the birth of the church. In the Book of Acts, we hear that “divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them… and all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:3–4).
