The diocesan website announced on December 13 that the Rev. Milind Sojwal has withdrawn from the slate as a candidate for XII Bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina. It is expected that one or two candidates will be added to the slate in January. The current candidates are: The Rev. Charles T. Dupree and The Rev. Samuel S. Rodman, III.
