St. Nicholas visits St. Paul’s early in December, so we start planning in November!
The beloved bishop of Myra comes to St. Paul’s every year at both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services on the Sunday closest to December 6 (the feast day of St. Nicholas) to gather gifts for families throughout our region. We partner with local agencies providing support to parents and children, connecting our communities during this season of giving.
To be ready for St. Nick’s visit, we have to start in mid-November. That’s when you’ll find our tree set up in the narthex (lobby) of the church, with tags ready for you to do your part! Check out the resources on this page to learn how you (and your friends and neighbors) can participate!
We are truly inspired by the incredible generosity of all in this community who make sure every one of the 300+ tags are taken each year. The needs increase every year, so please invite anyone in your circle of friends to take part; it’s a wonderful way to make meaningful connections.
As a reminder, all gifts must be at St. Paul’s by noon on the Sunday closest to December 6.
We invite you to learn more about the work of the agencies that serve these families throughout the year. Financial support of the St. Nicholas Ministry is appreciated year-round, as we use donations to purchase grocery gift cards, discounted need-based items, gifts for our contingency supply and to cover operating costs of the ministry.
