A Celebration of Life service will be held for Harold (Hal) Shook at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 821 Buck Jones Rd., Raleigh. Hal was a long-time member of St. Paul’s, and served as a pilot during World War II, including the invasion of Normandy. Click HERE for Hal’s obituary.
On January 21, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, the Philharmonic Association/Youth Triangle Music is holding a four-hour musical relay and international culinary extravaganza at St. Paul’s in the Parish Hall. Long-time St. Paul’s member Mary “Polly” Louise Zentner passed away on December 21, 2016 at her home in Cary. Her obituary is available for viewing HERE. The memorial service will take place in the church on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM.”
The Rev. Javier Almendárez Bautista was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Javier celebrated his first communion at St. Paul’s on December 18. Greening of the Church will be Thursday, December 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Come and help us decorate the altar and windows, hang the roping and, for the children, put out the crèche.
