Sunday, June 3, 2023 we welcomed Madeleine Preston at the start of her field placement through the Duke Divinity School Field Education Placement program. Madeleine is a native of the Chicago suburbs and graduated from Wheaton College in 2018, where she studied Spanish and Applied Health Science and worked for the student newspaper. She moved to Durham last August to start her M.Div. at Duke Divinity School and is loving the warmer weather and beautiful scenery. She is a member of the Anglican Episcopal House of Studies at Duke. At her previous churches she has enjoyed working with the music ministry and youth group. She’s looking forward to getting to know all of us at St. Paul’s this summer. Madeleine will be with us through the beginning of August.
