ONE Wake Action on Affordable Housing

Our neighbors at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church are working with other agencies to convert part of their property to affordable housing, along with space for early childhood education and family support services. The rezoning proposal will be heard publicly by the Cary Town Council on April 24 (NOTE DATE CHANGE) at 6:30 p.m. and we need supporters in the seats! St. Paul’s has pledged to have 20 people at this action. This powerful show of support will help clear the final hurdle to launch a 62-unit affordable housing project on church-owned land.

We need your help to get people at the Cary Town Hall on April 10. It’s critical that we show up for our friends at Greenwood Forest and show the Town Council that we’re ALL behind this effort. Register here in advance. Show up and make a difference for those who struggle to live here. Questions? Contact Mary Kintz at mary.kintz@stpaulscary.org.
