The Youth are collecting new socks for the farmworkers in Eastern North Carolina through the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry (EFwM). Socks are always needed – they get filthy with dirt and chemicals and don’t last the farmworkers very long. We have a collection bin in the hallway across from the music room. The Stop Hunger Now ministry at St. Paul’s needs a New Ministry Leader. This ministry has been active for close to 10 years and St. Paul’s has packaged over 100,000 meals during that time! There is already a significant amount of starter money available for the next event which will hopefully be this fall. Continue reading for details.

The week starting June 26, 2017, the church office will be open Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon. The following week the office will be closed July 3, 4, and 5.
A new green altar frontal depicting the Tree of Life has been completed by Barbara Brickman & Jan Barbee for use during “Ordinary Time.” References to the tree of life are found throughout the Bible, especially Genesis, Proverbs, and Revelation. Thanks to these ladies for their beautiful work.

Episcopal Relief & Development has established a Hurricane Relief Fund so relief can be provided where the need is greatest regardless of the hurricane’s name or location. The preference now is that donations be marked “Hurricane Relief Fund.” However, donations marked for a named hurricane will be used for that hurricane.
