The Youth are collecting new socks for the farmworkers in Eastern North Carolina through the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry (EFwM). Socks are always needed – they get filthy with dirt and chemicals and don’t last the farmworkers very long. We have a collection bin in the hallway across from the music room. Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is scheduled for June 25 to July 1, 2017. ASP brings thousands of volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families. Youth and adults who are going on the Appalachia Service Project are teaming up Saturday, May 6, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon to do various jobs at parishioners’ houses as a fund raiser for our trip.
