Refuge for Refugees News

Refuge for Refugees Committee members went to the airport last week to greet our newest refugee family and were disappointed to discover that they had been prohibited from boarding their plane because the U.S. had filled its quota of 30,000 refugees for the fiscal year.  We, and the NGO with which we work – USCRI, are hopeful that they will arrive in early October. New Refugee Family from Sudan

The Refuge for Refugees Committee is happy to report that St. Paul’s will welcome another refugee family in early September. This family (mother and two adult sons) comes to us from Sudan. We are asked to furnish a two bedroom apartment with everything a family would need on the first day they move in. Continue reading to see how you can help.
