This year, our Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) service project supported Tools4Schools, a program of WakeEd Partnership that provides free classroom supplies to Wake County Public School teachers. Many teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to stock their classrooms. Tools4Schools was created as a direct, community-driven solution—a free “store” where Wake County Public School teachers can access essential supplies at no cost, ensuring students have what they need to focus on learning while reducing the financial burden on educators.
Throughout the week of VBC, we invited participating families to donate new school supplies to help support local teachers and students. They responded in such a great way, we’d like to extend this service opportunity to others in our community. You can bring items to St. Paul’s through the month of August to be included in our drive. Drop items in the bin in the narthex.
