Tree of Life Altar Frontal

A new green altar frontal depicting the Tree of Life has been completed by Barbara Brickman & Jan Barbee for use during “Ordinary Time.”  References to the tree of life are found throughout the Bible, especially Genesis, Proverbs, and Revelation.  Thanks to these ladies for their beautiful work.

Altar Frontal Mystery Solved

During our recent spring cleaning, the Altar Guild found four altar frontals that do not fit the altars in the sanctuary or the chapel.  They are beautifully made with lovely embroidery on heavy, good fabric in a variety of the seasonal colors of the church.  They are about 4 feet wide by 3 feet long. Taizé Service (May 7, 2017)

The youth of St. Paul’s invites everyone to a Taizé Service on May 7 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence, liturgical readings, and icons. There is no preaching. Come join us for a quiet, reflective, and contemplative prayer service.
