St. Paul’s has signed up to work on Saturday, March 7, 2020 on a Habitat for Humanity house at Johnson St. & Avery St. in Garner. Dear Friends: I am writing to let you know that in response to the coronavirus, Bishop Rodman has directed congregations of our diocese to suspend all worship services, as well as ministry meetings, events, and activities, through Saturday, March 28. As we approach Sunday, March 29 the diocesan staff will evaluate the situation and determine whether it is advisable for public worship to resume. Sunday, March 1, 2020 is Hermano Day (Farmworker Day). Representatives from the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry will be here to tell us about the work being done to help our farmworker brothers in Christ. St. Paul’s helps by donating work clothes and bedding and by offering financial support. Please bring your donations to church that day. The Appalachia Service Project (ASP) Spaghetti Dinner will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come support ASP and enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared by the St. Paul’s Men’s Group.
